6-29-11

Starting fresh today, hoping I'll be eating normal or as normal as I can. Thank God the nausea and vomiting are gone. I couldn't weigh myself this morning because Rachel has some clothes piled up on the scale, bending over to pick them up would still hurt a lot. Blood sugar fasting was 94. Fiber Plus bar 24, 4 beef and 2 chicken taqitos 60, lettuce salad with oil and vinager 5, 2 apple pie slices 60. I could have eaten better, but I just ate what I wanted and it felt good not to get sick to my stomach! 149 carbs for the day. I was even able to drink 10 glasses of water! I did notice some fluid retention from the IVs and tried to drink lots of water so I can get rid of the retention faster. Kicked Rachel's clothes off the scale to check weight which was 10 pound more than last week. Yup, that would be in water!

I haven't been able to eat much of anything for the last 3 days, haven't weighed myself or checked my blood sugar. Just trying to keep the food I can get past my lips to stay in me. A few bits of toast with jelly (gross) a few bits of banana pudding (yum) but so scared I'm going to throw it up.

Weight 169.0 blood sugar 105. Fiber Plus bar 24, apple 15, chow mein, kung pow chicken, crab puff, sweet and sour sauce (I didn't eat a lot of the chow mein or chicken, I'm going to guess on the carbs for this meal) 45, chips and hot sauce, 1/2 chicken fundido guessing 80 carbs. 164 carbs for the day. Hernia repair surgery tomorrow, who knows what my day will be like other than it starts at 5 AM.

Didn't weigh or check blood sugar. 2 blueberry pop tarts chocolate milk140,, apple 15, 3 crackers, 3 ham slices, 3 cheddar slices 25, Sonic hot fudge sundae 63. carbs for the day 243. Breakfast was very high on carbs, the bummer part was the poptarts didn't even take very good. I did share with Baby who really liked them :)

No fruits or veggies, not a very healthy eating day.

Blood sugar 112, weight 176. 7:30-Fiber Plus bar 24 carbs. cheese slices, roast beef, almonds, salad, oil and vinegar dressing, 2 glasses of chocolate milk 105 carbs for the day. I drank so much yesterday I thought I was floating, but I just seemed dehydrated all day.

Weight 171 blood sugar 106. 10 AM- Fiber Plus bar 24 carbs. 1:30 pasta salad, deviled egg, swiss cheese 45 carbs. The rest of the day- 2 roast beef slices, 2 swiss cheese slices, one cheddar slice, cherries, some potato chips (not many) 30 carbs. 69 carbs for the day. I almost had a piece of cake, not sure what happened but I never did eat it, and later I didn't want one! Crazy!

I don't remember any blood sugar numbers and I didn't weigh myself, and I'm gonna lump all I ate.
Fiber Plus bar, apple, frosting (keep getting on my fingers!), eggplant parm., shrimp scampi, brown rice. Guessing about 130 carbs for the day, I have no idea how much frosting I really ate. I didn't do well with eating every 2-3 hours, I was very busy.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning and I just lumped everything together that I ate or plan on eating today. I'll have to adjust it if I eat differently.
