Medical Need Now

It is now medically necessary for me to loose weight. Really it probably was before because of all the things wrong with my heart. But now I have been diagnosed with high cholesterol and diabetics. I'm not sure when I really started loosing some weight but I know it was the highest I have ever been in my life. This morning I weighed 182.1, a goal I set was to be 175 by Easter. I don't think that's going to happen, unless I can some how add some exercise in to my day. It's not that I don't have time, because I certainly have time since I haven't been working since January, when I injured my back. The problem is I can't walk for long or move much because of the back. So what kind of exercise can I do? I'd love to try water aerobics and see what that felt like. But a gym membership is not possible right now with our finances.
I'm going to try to keep a log of my blood sugars, weight, and food intake daily on this blog with notes on how I slept, felt etc.
Last night I had a hard time sleeping, I finally feel asleep after 2 AM someone was up make a racket from 6 AM to 10 AM. I fell asleep only to be woken up by Joseph at 10:50 for a ride to school. I quickly got dressed and checked my blood sugar which was 152, pretty high fasting blood sugar and the highest it has been since I started testing 2 weeks ago. I did drink some water taking my meds, but not a lot after not drinking all night, I need to drink a full glass every morning. After dropping Joseph off at school I stopped at Sonic and got a grilled chicken sandwich on a wheat bun with mayo and lettuce, a small tater tot and a small diet coke. I shared 1/2 of the chicken with the puppy, ate less than half of the roll, but ate most of the tater tots. 2 hours past blood sugar was 145. High still. Not to mention tater tots? Wasn't that great of a meal plan to lower my cholesterol. Rachel made dinner tonight. She's really in this kick of wanting to cook. She made Steak Um sandwiches on huge white hoagie rolls with cheese sauce and french fries. I had made a salad to go with dinner, but she wanted us to save the salad for tomorrow nights spaghetti. I ate some of the meat, but I really don't like that meat, some cheese sauce and nearly all of the roll. I didn't eat any french fries. I did have a cup of water with dinner, 2 hours post dinner blood sugar was 148.
Not great meals today, high blood sugars and not enough water. And no fresh fruit or vegetables :( All in all not a great day.
